Landrover experts based in Harlow. Stuart and Paul have years of experience in preparing vehicles for overland travel. They can also provide excellent advice and help in the planning stages of your trip. Due to the nature of their business they often have a good selection of vehicles that would suit an overland journey. I would recomment these guys any time.
The website of the book. Website is useful but do yourself a real favour and buy the book! It's indispensable. Chris Scott offers invaluable advice on how to prepare an overland vehicle. Plus loads of tracks to try in the Sahara and other excellent stuff.
Suppliers of excellent kit for your Landy. They aren't the cheapest around by a fair whack. However, they do offer excellent advice and the customer service I received was excellent. Speak to Kevin about suspension.
Expedition experts based in London. They not only make lots of excellent overlanding kit they offer useful advice on many aspects of your trip. Their website has an excellent expedition planning section written by an overlander for overlanders. You should read this and the original Camel World website before you make any decsions about kit etc.
This site chronicles the round-Africa adventures of the Camel, a 1997 evented Camel Trophy Discovery between November 2002 and March 2004. Another good website with lots of advice and links.
The 2 websites above are for the lads, Henry and Ali, that we travelled with for 6 weeks. Although there are on a bit of a jolly there are also doing this for charity. the charity is a conservation project called Tusk. So dar the boys have raised about 30k and are hoping to reach 50k by the end of the year. have a look at their site and donte money to them if you think it is a worthy cause. The 'just giving' website is the one to donate through.
